		NEWSFLASH for Parents: We are very proud that our Big Sky Coffee Lounge was recently opened by Kev Lawrence from Hereward FM. So parents and carers come rest and relax in the BIG SKY Lounge. You can enjoy our award winning and truly delicious 'Coffee-House' coffee whilst seated in sumptuous leather comfort. There's a big screen TV and magazines are on hand. As an additional treat why not have some cold or hot food, all available from our Cafeteria. It just gets better and better at Big Sky!

Big Sky is a an indoor adventure play center on the south west side of Peterborough. Big Sky opened in late 1995 and was taken under new ownership in 2004. Since that time new attractions have been added as well as several refurbishment projects to the whole Big Sky complex. Since new ownership took place Big Sky has now become a registered member of the Play Providers Association. The PPA sets standards and compliance conditions for membership. This includes a regime of annual inspections for 'soft play' facilities.

Safety
At Big Sky safety is very important to us. We therefore ask all parents and carers to observe the regulations which are posted at the entrance to Big Sky and there are further notices at various points around the building. You must abide by the regulations that are in force as this is for everyone's safety. At the same time please pay attention and follow any instructions that staff may give to you or your child from time to time whilst you are at Big Sky.

As parent or carer you are required to appropriately supervise your child(ren) whilst at Big Sky and to have your child(ren) conduct themselves in an appropriate manner.

PLEASE NOTE: Children must wear socks at all times. If you have arrived without socks then please see a member of staff at reception where socks may be purchased.
There are height limits in force for children to play at Big Sky. In the main play area the maximum height limit is 1.5m or 4Ft 11in. In the under 5's area the height limit is 1m.
Please check against our height chart on entry if in doubt. If you are not taller than the limit in your 'stocking feet' then you are allowed to play!

ALSO NOTE: Only food purchased on the premises may be consumed at Big Sky. Sorry, but we do not allow PICNICS.

Big Sky also houses a children's full day care nursery, Alpha Kindergarten School. Alpha Kindergarten has two settings in Peterborough, the one in the Big Sky building known as our ORTON SETTING and another at 66 Fletton Avenue, Fletton, PE2 8AU, our FLETTON SETTING. Both nursery's cater for children from 3 months up to the age of 5 between the hours of 8am to 6pm. The nursery's are open every weekday except Bank Holidays and unlike many similar establishments we do not have an annual close down period. We are very proud of our nursery's and the facilities that they each offer. Jumping Jacks - Out of School & Holiday Club Also under the Alpha banner is our Jumping Jacks club. This is also housed in the Big Sky building and provides a 'BEFORE' and 'AFTER' school club. The club performs a bus run in the morning and afternoon to St. Botolphs school on the Oundle Road. Jumping Jacks also provides a HOLIDAY CLUB catering for school half-terms and main holidays.
