I trained with the College of Transformational Therapy and am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy. The aim of hypnotherapy is to enable the person to resolve their issues in as short a time as possible. My training also included an understanding of, and competency in, the techniques of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Hypnotherapy and the techniques of NLP can be enormously helpful in bringing about positive change, even when other approaches have been unsuccessful. I also offer the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), sometimes referred to as tapping. EFT is known to be a powerful way of releasing trapped emotional pain, thus allowing liberation from past hurt. New responses and behaviours can then be installed, allowing the individual to move forward with improvement in areas which had once been a difficulty.
I have a particular interest in emotional issues, often stemming back to experiences in childhood. I also specialise in developing confidence and self-esteem building. I find it especially rewarding to assist individuals when they are going through a time of personal change, such as following a divorce, bereavement, change of career or other period of personal challenge. No two people are the same, and my aim is to provide a programme of hypnotherapy specially tailored to help you.
I am registered with the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy organisations. The UKCHO is an umbrella body for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom. UKCHO’s mission is to ensure that standards of conduct, ethics and practice are appropriate for public safety. It is the aim of UKCHO to promote the professional regulation of hypnotherapy within the United Kingdom, to ensure that Hypnotherapists are safe and competent to practice, and that they adhere to national standards of ethics and training.
